Düsseldorf Day 4!!

Packed my stuff in the morning and headed out to Aquazoo-Löbbecke Museum, which was once again, included in the Welcome Card!! :D

Eating breakfast...

Nord Park (North Park)

Aquazoo-Löbbecke Museum!

The lady at the counter was so geh gao. Comment comment comment. But, whatever. The Museum looked way much bigger than it looked like from outside! It was not just about fishes in aquariums, there was the history of animals, exhibitions of insects, reptiles and some mammals too!! Loved how they mix history with the fishes. It was very educational!!!! :D

Penguins.

Rarr...

Superfish... Bone!

It's nibbling my ear?

Very cute dragon-looking fish!

Dragon! Lived since 300 million yrs ago. Must respect!

Many animal showcases!

Eeeeeeeel~

Can u see 2 fishes? Amazing mimicry! :D

Gigantic Lobster!

Grumpy fish

Colourful jellyfish!

HUGE aquarium with many sharks!

Seawater fishes & Corals!

I'm not a big fan of animals. My bro, on the other hand, LOVES them. He's always watching animal channels on TV. Once in a while, he would bring some weird, rare and sometimes illegal animals home. Though I don't share his passion for animals, I felt that the museum was simply fascinating. So many species of fishes, some reptiles, insects and mammals... I was actually excited about the museum! Then it came to my mind why I dislike animals - the smell.

So excited I was, but my camera had to die on me. Left my battery in the locker, so I couldnt take more pretty pics of the creatures!!! Really Schade!!! :(

Nordpark, just beside the Aquazoo!

Beautiful park!

Flowers! :D

Lazing under the sun! :)

Didn't walk around Nordpark cos it was 1pm already. Lunch time! Pity though, cos Nordpark seems BIG and PRETTY! Went to Altstadt instead. Was determined to have a pizza from the stall we previously went. It was delicious!! :D Had some fries too, those typically sold in Amsterdam, which was just 3 hrs away from Dusseldorf!

Fries in Amsterdam were better!

yay! nice pizza!

Kirmes!

Cartwheel Fountain! :D

Went to Volkspark after lunch. Thought it might be a beautiful park, like Nordpark, but it was just ok. Like a family park. Didnt have time to walk to the prettier regions in the park.

Water play park for the kids!
Many clocks, all showing same time!

Went back after walking a BIT of the park and got ready to... leave...
Didn't feel that sad when we parted. Actually, I didn't feel much sadness when I parted with many of my friends in WHU. Not that I don't treasure them, but just that, for those whom I am close with, I feel that they're always there. Just somewhere in another part of the world. Someday, somehow, if time allows, we'll meet again. And as time goes by, when we're all living our own lives, I don't hope to be someone significant in their lives; I just wish not to be forgotten.

I'm not as happy as how I look!

So long, farewell, it's time to say goodbye!

Reached the airport, learnt that my flight was delayed by 1 hour! Reached at 2210 instead of 2110. Good thing was that Hong-Linh so kindly offered to pick me up from the airport! Really lucky to have such a nice fren :) Would be disastrous if I went home from the airport by myself, since it was so late and the S-Bahns are not working now :S

Airport Weeze @ Dusseldorf!

Germany's Landscape - Rhine River! :D

Night view of Berlin :)

As I reached home, I realised, that my internet was not working anymore. The unsecured network I had been using is now secured! Oh man.. 3 more weeks without internet would be bearable... but HORRIBLE!
