Potsdamer Platz Visit No. 3

Researched on my modules and on Düsseldorf during work today. Planned a bit of my timetable, still lacking an interesting GEM or SS module to fill my week. Going Düsseldorf on Thursday evening, looking forward yet kinda sad at the same time. Wish time wouldn't pass by so quickly!!

Met Hong-Linh after work today, went to Potsdamer Platz again! Think it's quite interesting there now cos Hong-Linh said there are 3 cinemas there! One of them shows films in original version. Great! Also, the Berlin Wall used to be there, right in the middle of the now very popular Potsdamer Platz. Historical & cultural. How Berlin is like :)

Fountain at Sony Center

Had a delicious ice-cream while lazing on the big patch of grass in the middle of all the futuristic-looking, artistic buildings. Kinda weird but that's what u do in Germany... Or maybe, in Europe! :P

I'm at Potsdamer Platz!

Went for dinner at Vapiano, an Italian 'fast' food restaurant. The restaurant was cool! Like Marche in SG, u order ur food and pay only at the end. However they used RFID technology, like EZ-link cards, instead of paper with bar codes! Also, when u order pizza, they'd give u this device, which beeps/vibrates when ur pizza is ready, prompting u to go collect it!! Cool cool!

Another cool thing is they have these potted plants on every table, which u can pluck and eat!! LOL!!! It was weird but Super coooool!!! :D

Pizza Davioli!

Took the U-Bahn to Märkisches Museum and walked back. Surprised to receive a little gift from Hong-Linh. Really sweet and thoughtful of him! :DD

Jose's flying to Moscow for the weekend tomorrow night and I've no plans for tml yet.
