Hip Hop in Germany!

Nothing to do at work today cos Boss not in. Overheard that he has flu. And he went to New York last week!! Although he's not the kindest person in office, I do hope it's nothing serious and that the flu would be gone soon!

Spent whole day in office updating my blog. Recently found a dance studio called D!'s Dance School, which is around Jannowitzbrücke, very very near my place! Seemed quite credible, similar to Studiowu or Oschool in SG. Their instructors were judges/participants of Germany's Dance Floor equivalent. Decided to go for the advanced Hip Hop Class by Julie Denise from L.A.!!

Went home early, had dinner and rushed to the dance studio, 5 mins away by bicycle! The dance studio was in a factory-looking building again. €9 for a lesson. Expensive if converted but otherwise it's ok...

D!'s Dance School

First time attending Hip Hop lessons in 8 mths!!! There were quite a few students, about 20 of us. Danced to a German Hip Hop Song by Peter Fox, a fast and chirpy song ;D

Lesson was taught in German. So horrible cos I'm not used to counting in German!!! Especially the 'and' counts. Was hard to catch up cos I kept trying to translate the numbers to English in my mind, whilst dancing! :P

After a while, I just hecked the counting. Listened to the beats and music instead :D
Choreography was nice. Dancing was GOOD. Fellow dancers, dressed well, some danced well and were groovy, most were quite slack, made dancing more free and easy =X

Overall, FUN! Will probably take some more courses in the future!!! Dance dance dance!!! :D
