Asian Party at Felix!

Weather reports say that today would hit up to 3o°C, aka the hottest day in Germany. Went out for lunch at subway with Jose. Sat outside, facing sideways. It was so sunny I seriously think my left side is blacker than my left alr. Haha :P

The sunny day didn't last for long though. Thunderstorm at around 5pm. Really heavy rain, with... LIGHTNING!!! very rare here in Europe I think.. hehe.. So exciting cos the office became so dark we had to switch on the lights! Never had to usually.

I recently registered for Couchsurfing, mainly to find some activities and for my Hamburg trip 2 weeks ago. 2 Germans randomly sent me some msgs online and I decided to meet up with one of them! His name is Hong-Linh, a Vietnamese who was borned and grew up in Germany. So he's basically German but looks Asian.

Met him at 9pm, went to a restaurant for a drink, chatted alot, in GERMAN! He was talking 65% of the time since I'm handicapped by my limited German... He mentioned that there was an Asian Party going on at Felix ClubRestaurant (restaurant in the day, club by night), a popular and quite high end club in Berlin. He said celebrities go there when here in Berlin! Curious how an Asian Party would be and the night life, I decided to tag along!

Hong-Linh knew the organiser and was invited to this party, so we were on the 'guest list' and entrance was free! Otherwise it would be €10, expensive for a club in Berlin! Met his cousin, Dai, his fren, Tan, and her fren, Isabel, both from the Phillipines.

11pm, nothing was going on. Night life here begins aft 12am and can last till 7am or later. The dance floor wasn't even opened until 12:30am lar! haha... Stood there, chatted and had a beer, which was incredibly expensive, and camwhored.

Felix was quite pretty; modern look with black and red themes.. A bit like those chinese gangster clubs we see in films. Not many asians, about 35%? Ok lar.. Quite alot in Germany at least. hehe.. Everone there was dressed so fancily! Pretty dresses, thick makeup, high heels, styled up hair! Too glam for a club I feel somehow :P

The DJ played electro and techno most of the time. Eeeks. Bored after a few tracks, but those pple there... It's either they like the songs alot or they were high man. Kept dancing to those -.- songs.. oh my. haha..
