Vietnam Center

Woke up at 930am and reached my workplace at 1130am. Took my time to wash up, cook lunch and leave for work. Damn shiok. At 1pm, Allison and I went out to Dolores (BURRITOS!) for lunch. But I ate my packed lunch.. haha :D

Beautiful weather this whole week. Damn glad that I went out to take a breather. Had been working till damn late the past few days. Missed all the sun. Damn amazing day. Everyone left by 6pm. And no calls from my boss at 6pm. YES! Jose, another Spanish colleague and I were the last to leave the office. Though the last, I'm not complaining cos I had a short day! :D

Met Hong-Linh at 6:30pm to go to Vietnam Center he suggested. Took the transport illegally again. Got "lost" and had to travel to and fro several times. Had a close encounter with the train conductors! OMG! damn scary. LOL. Finally reached Vietnam Center after an hour.

Dong Xuan Center

Expected it to be a huge shopping centre, like lucky plaza or something, with many vietnamese pple and stores in there. Turned out to be a huge ulu place with 5 or 6 huge warehouses. Within the warehouses were many rooms/shops selling all sorts of things! Items on sale and the store layouts reminded me very much of Asia (not just SG). So many stuff, but so little pple there! Perhaps cos it's still a weekday and it was almost 8pm (late).

Ate Pho at one of the restaurants there. It was like kuay tiao! Soup was nice (I love soup!). Too much skin on the chicken, don't like. Haven really eaten authentic Vietnamese food before. Sure that there are lots more yummy stuff!

Tml's Saturday! My boss said that he transferred the money on Tuesday. Hopefully, I'll be 1.5k richer tml can go BARGAIN HUNTING! hehe :D
