Master your Career

Had German class today and went for WHU's Master your Career event, where there was a series of company presentations. Companies such as Henkel, BP, AT Kearney, Beiersdorf, Vodafone, etc. The presentations were brief but they had a mingling session after that.

My first time going to such a career fair. Was never interested to go for one in NUS cos I always had the thought that the companies are not interested in hiring someone in their 2nd or 3rd Semester. Didn't noe what to ask or say cos it's just not me to ask simple questions like: do u hire exchange students? But eventually, I asked them. Haha.. Found out about the companies, interested in some of them and am motivated to apply for an internship in Germany!

Think that the event was an eye-opener for me, simply cos i've never participated in a career fair before! Though it was really small-scaled, I'm really encouraged and motivated to take part in more of such things, when I get back to NUS. But let's see if I can hold on to this courage back home! hehe :P
