Happy CNY eve!
Web cam-ed with my family at noon, when they were still eating reunion dinner. My 2nd brother was so cute and irritating at the same time, showing me all the CNY goodies we have at home! Esp my favourite white-coloured pandan biscuit!!!! (dunno what's it called) Finally got in touch with gugu as well. Missed talking to her!!! :D
It was a beautiful sunny day today! Feeling unhealthy, I decided to go jogging in Winter! So I wore my FBT, track pants, long wollen shirt, a t-shirt and a head band to go jog! It was still cold, especially the hands cos it was not covered.
After jogging for 10 mins, I thought I'd feel warmer and would perspire. But NO. I didn't perspire lor. A super weird jog. Immune to fatigue due to the cold, I continued jogging and jogging, round the HUGE agricultural farm behind my hostel. The path seemed never-ending and I was hesitant to jog that path at first. But I made it! Back at the hostel, I realised that I jogged for 40 mins! Nv jogged so long before I think. haha.
After that, I did area cleaning! washed the sink, swept the floor, mopped the floor, washed the toilet, washed the clothes. First time washing the toilet. Quite gross :( maybe it's all in the mind.
Prepared my usual veges to bring to the dorm to cook after that. It was my first visit to the dorm!!! The dormitory, by the way, is uphill from WHU, in the opposite direction of my hostel and houses about 30 exchange students. Quite an exciting place cos they have a common kitchen and shared bathroom so pple can meet each other. For me, I can survive in my room alone for weeks. hahaha.. Pros and cons lar. I'm satisfied with my accomm :)
Bundesheim Dormitory is at the BACK
The dorm was quite ulu and scary-looking to me. It was a rectangular white building with a carpark in front of it. The layout and building looked similar to that of Hendon Camp!!! Now u noe why it looks scary? haha.. Once inside, it was warmer & livelier. But the corridors resembled a hospital, those u would see in movies =X and their rooms were very basic. Bed, desk, chair, wardrobe & a sink. Good enough I guess :)
At the kitchen, we started to prepare our food! We had many dumplings, fried rice, rice, vegetables, fried potatoes, salad & tang yuan! I cooked my usual veges, Christian cooked some instant curry rice and Haowen cooked Curry!

They started preparing at 3pm (I reached at 430pm) and we ate only at 8pm! Our stomachs were all growling after 5 hours of cooking and we finished everything within 30 mins! So much for the effort put in! It was delicious by the way :D

Stayed at chatted till 930pm and went back. At the hostel, I realised that I left my cam in the kitchen! After panicking and asking around, I found out that Jackie kept it for me. Phew. If i lost my cam, everyone would kill me! (It was a combined present from many :P) haha!
