Regional Tour
Today was regional tour! Met at the train station and took a chartered bus to Marksburg 40 mins away. We were then split into 2 groups and went through a guided tour! The scenery was beautiful albeit a bit foggy due to the rain. Saw their bedroom, kitchen, torture chamber, etc. Quite nice but it was so chilly in the castle!
Their cannons have a nice view :P
Rhein RiverWith a sick Pat
Alice, Karen & me!
Was walking with Keaton until Pavel & Ivan caught up and I ended up talking to them instead. They got mixed up and thought i was from Thailand. And after establishing that I was from SG, Ivan thought SG was Taiwan. haha... interesting conversation cos they were europeans and didn't noe much about Asia, while I didn't noe much about Eastern Europe either! They taught me some Czech/Slovak words. Like zai-mavel and jawas jeburm. Spelling may be wrong but i understand can alr! :P
The restaurant at Lahnstein
At the restaurant, we ordered Beer (as usual) and waited for our meal. My oh my, the meal was HUGE. There were potatoes, fries, beans, long beans, tomatoes, corn, garden salad, beef, cutlet, sausages, grilled chicken, sausage ham all in one big wok, meant for 5 people. 6 of us shared the wok of dishes and we barely ate half of it all! It was the biggest meal I've seen. I was full at the sight of it! haha..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mingled and chatted till 7+ and we left for Vallendar. Come to think of it, we didn't do anything much. Just the castle & eat. haha... That's the german idea of a regional tour ;)
