International Dinner
Woke up in the morning for a meeting at 815am with the Landlord. Only 6 outta 20 over people turned up. Got a briefing about rules and how things work around here. Was elected to be in charge of the tokens used for operating the washing machine cos I was the only one (out of the 6) who could speak better German. =S but ok lar.. can practise German if I see the Landlord. haha.
Had Corporate Finance class again today. Was very lost because I missed the first lesson and it was a 4th Semester class (the one i took ytd was a 2nd semester class). Seemed like the whole class knew what was going on but i could only understand bits of it. Need to study really hard already I guess. Ate 4 slices of bread for lunch. Have to finish my bread in these 2 days! Classes here are SMU-style. Small seminar/lecture groups and lots of discussion going on.
-6 deg!!!! COLD.
Taken during 45 mins lunch break. Note the files & water bottles!
Class ended at 330pm, I went to collect my WHU card. This card is super zai. Double function - access card and a cash card. We should have such cards in SG too. International Dinner was at 7pm, where the Tauschies (exchange students) have to bring some food from their home country. Coinicidentally, HaoWen from SMU brought chicken rice mix here too, so we combined forces to cook the best (pre-mixed) Hainanese Chicken Rice!

The best (pre-mix) Chefs: Me & HaoWen
In school, at the chapel, the international relations staff welcomed us and we had to go forward and introduce ourselves. I said just one sentence =P Many Tauschies brought wine. Some baked and cooked stuff as well. After that, we proceeded to the Gewoelbekeller, where we dined and drank beer! Food was really nice and despite small portions of food brought by each person, there was enough for all to try. Was really full after that.
My buddy came over to say hello! He's very cool, can speak Mandarin and quite accurately! Had a nice long chat and got to noe from him that the courses are quite intensive! Another reminder to study hard!
Me and Jerry (my buddy)
Liu from Thailand, Me & Patricia from HK
Prost!
Everyone was really happy and high (not cos of drinking), chatting and making merry! Hung around the Asians most of the time. Quite hard to mix around! but hopefully it'll get better soon! :D Went back at 10plus. So tired that I left all my garbage and dirty dishes alone, and went to bed. =X
