Tauschie Rally & Enchiladas
My thermometer
Went to school for yet another info session at 9am today. Session ended at 9:30am instead of the stipulated 11am. See, Germans keep things short. Kinda waste of time walking to school, but better than ending at 11am; got time to spare after that.
Took my time to walk back to hostel, enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Nice. (refering to the one on the left)

Where i live: Guesthouse Schumann
Came across a notice board which describes the heritage of Niederwerth, where I'm staying. Realised that it was actually an island 4.5km long. I think the whole uni knows this already and I juz knew about it =S
Wanted to take a picture of snow on a garbage bin (see the garbage bins outside Guesthouse Schumann) but thought it'd be a nicer pic by making the surface area of the snow smaller, so i used my hands to brush off the snow. After 2 brushes, I felt a stinging pain in my hand. It was INDESCRIBABLY PAINFUL. I figured that it could be because my veins were all frozen stiff and warm blood still wants to flow through them. It REALLY felt like my hand was cut off. Got worried for quite a while cos I COULDN'T FEEL MY HAND!!! Gave up taking pic and went inside to warm my hands. SO SCARY. Now I finally understand what Eileen meant when she said her feet BURNS when she walks barefeet outside in winter and put her feet in warm water.
Lesson learnt: Don't play with snow with bare hands.
Went to school once again after that for Corporate Finance class. Left halfway to go for Tauschie Rally organised by the VIP. Took a ferry to Koblenz, got split into groups. My group had only 5 people and I was the only gal! Well, it's actually like Amazing Race in Koblenz, there were 9 stations to complete. It was so cold standing in the snow, I was afraid that my feet would be frostbitten! Then there was one station, where we were supposed to go into a sex shop. OH MY TIAN. I couldn't look anywhere except for the floor and the ceiling. Completed the station quickly (we were supposed to take a funny pic in the shop) and we left.

The games were fine, just too much free time and we had to be out in the cold of at least -5 deg celcius for 3 hours, which was SO not fun. Didn't take much pics too cos i didn't bring my gloves out. I miss Singapore's sunny weather man.. haha..
After the Rally, we went to a mexican bar called 'Enchiladas' to chill. Nice atmosphere, only thing was that we were in the smoking zone so it was veryyy stinky. Ordered chips cos I was very full but a simple dish like that took an hour to arrive. Too many people alr. =S Shared a taxi back to Vallendar with gals living in the Dormitory (another hostel).
Kinda sad cos my clothes can't be worn again! Got smoked. haha. Oh well, international dinner tml, exciting! =)
