Dance Tonight & Tauschie Tuesday
Didn't have school today but I went to school to study in the study room. Cherry and Lezly joined in in the evening.
Checked my email and noticed the email titled "Dancing Tonight". I see this email every week but never really thought of going for it cos it was latin and ballroom dancing. Perhaps cos it was an uneventful day and I was inspired by the dances put up during the show at Master's Party, I felt tempted to go! Reluctant but eager to see how it was like, I went.
Surprisingly, I knew the pple there. There were Violane, Snezhina, Praveen and his gf! The other 4 pple were German students. Small group, with more gals than guys. So we ended up rotating partners, dancing with girls at times. Since it was a beginners' class and there were newcomers (Snezhina & me), we learnt the basic steps of Cha-Cha, Waltz and Fox Trot.
Danced with this super tall German student named Phillip. Well, in fact, almost everyone is tall in Germany. Guys are like at least a head taller. Damn. haha. The class ended quite quickly as it was only for an hour and the 'instructor' taught 3 dances: Waltz was boring but idiot-proof, Fox Trot was something new and Cha-Cha was simple. Quite fun I would say. Will probably come back for more. Used to dislike such social dancing when I learnt it back when I was in Primary 6. I noe. It's unbelievable. D= Too young to appreciate back then I guess.
Went back to the study room, studied, chatted, and went to Korova for Tauschie Tuesday. Met Dominik there. Remembered seeing him at the Master's Party, where he looked totally different! All drunk and mafia-looking (but it was actually his intended image). Had a nice chat with him and left at around 12:30am.
I feel that I had a meaningful day today!
