25 weeks have passed...

I'm once again at work! Call me a slacker if you wanna, but I do get my work done! :P Anw, the weekend was wunderbar! Sunny Saturday and Sunday, brightened up my day and cast away my PMS. hahaha..

On Saturday, Keaton and I went to Potsdam, visited Schloss Sanssouci and surroundings. Came back in the evening and walked along East side gallery! It has changed over the past 3 years I think. Walls were washed and repainted by artists and there were fences to prevent the public from getting close to the walls. One thing I'm glad is that I walked along the whole stretch of wall this time, that is maybe 1+ km? not very long but now i know that I live really near to the Berlin wall! ha..

Schloss Sanssouci :D

So pretty, like a secret garden :)

East Side Gallery - Familiar place :)

On Sunday, we had a huge breakfast with towkay, stir fried chicken, some meat patty from Galleria Kaufhof and Korean instant noodles. It was like lunch! Went to Tiergarten for the first time (that I could remember), where the Kaiser church and Zoological Garden is! Do you know that the Berlin Zoo has the most variety of animals in Europe? Sounds interesting, yea? But no time to visit. Schade!

Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church

Interior - Beautiful

Had YUMMY Mövenpick ice cream for €1.70 (that's cheaper than a scoop of Häagen Däaz in SG)! Then we headed for the free walking tour. Heard the tour for the 2nd time now, but i definitely cannot remember the details (just vaguely). Tour lasted 4 hours, headed home, Keaton got his things, and left. Though we didn't spend much time enjoying Berlin's night life or cultural scene, he claimed that he enjoyed himself. Really hope that's true! heh.

Berlin Zoo! and Mövenpick! :D

Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral)

After Keaton left, I felt lonely once again... But I came up with a brilliant idea to visit Amsterdam on Friday! Will take an overnight 10 hours-long train ride to Amsterdam, join the free tour, visit a museum or 2 after that and leave for Düsseldorf in the evening! Muahaha. Free lodging, free transport (cos of Eurail Pass), Perfecto!

In addition to that, I've decided to visit a state museum every Thursday evening for the remaining weeks and perhaps visit Hamburg on one of the weekends! :D

8 weeks seem long but it'll go by in a flash. So I should enjoy every time I have left here :)
