Home Sweet Home?
Five and a half hour journey, finally reached Frankfurt main train station. Had some difficulty getting my luggage off the train. I needed to change trains in order to get to the airport. Since the luggage wheels were spoilt, I was in a loss. Looked around to see if there were any trolleys around. Then, I saw a familiar face: Hong-Linh!!! Was surprised to see him there, we were supposed to meet at the airport. haha.
He helped me to drag my luggage to the airport. As we were walking to the airport, the sights were all so familiar, especially the ticketing booth. Reminded me of the day when I first arrived in Germany with Christian, 7.5 months ago...
Checked in my 2 pieces of luggage. 43kg altogether. The spoilt luggage was 32kg. OMG! But come to think of it, I'm really very very very blessed to have known many wonderful friends in Germany. I almost didn't have to make any effort to bring my HEAVY SPOILT luggage from Berlin to Frankfurt Airport! :D
Wanted to make tax rebate claims but had to show the customs the items bought. Didnt know that and checked them all in. Have to make a trip to the German Embassy in SG. Good thing too cos my luggage was in a TOTAL MESS!
Sat around, had some yummy cake Hong-Linh's sister baked. And it was time to go in! So sad to leave but my tears were all used up in Berlin.
Ich sehe dich wieder nach einer Monate :)
Waiting to board.
Feels weird being back in Singapore. Cannot accept the fact that I had spent 7.5 months overseas. Now it's back to normal. It was as if I haven't left. Bought some stuff from the duty free stores. Met with church friends, who stayed overnight to welcome my arrival! Touched :)
Met papa and mummy too. Nice to see them once again :)
Seems like nothing much have changed. Maybe just me. Went to church while my parents fetched my luggages back. Once outta the airport, OMG. INCREDIBLY WARM AND HUMID. HATE THE WEATHER HERE, I CAN'T BREATHE.
Gotta get used to it. Church, had lunch, went back with more stuff from Dezmand. Spent 3 hrs unpacking my stuff, throwing out the old and hanging up the new clothes. Dezmand helped me a great deal with it. Now my room's all clean and tidy, ready for a new semester of my life :)
I wish I had the same enthusiasm for Singapore as I had in Germany. But as my Germany adventure ends for now, I probably won't have time to blog everyday. All in all, I had an absolutely marvellous time in Europe. Made some incredibly great friends, with whom I had precious memories made. Really hope the best for them and I'm sure, we'll see each other once again in the future :)
Thank God for everything :)

Left, boarded the flight, waited for departure, 12.5 hrs long journey.
Sat beside a 25 yr old indonesian chinese and started chatting with him. Interesting guy. Sounds nice to live and work abroad and to get to travel alot! Watched 3 movies, slept for 3 hours, ate, chatted. Then, I arrived in Singapore.
